RMS editorial notifications

RMS Notifications emails our reviewers when an article needs attention or changes publication status.

Reviewers sign in to approve articles. Replying to an email does not record approval. The administrator connects a Gmail account with send-only permission; RMS cannot read its inbox.

This service is for the editorial team. You can read published articles without an account.

Privacy

RMS uses a sign-in cookie for up to seven days and stores private drafts, reviews, publication and notification records. Imports retain extracted text, not original files. RMS Notifications uses Gmail send-only access for reviewer emails containing an article title, status and desk link. Netlify stores connection credentials and reviewer addresses privately; email services retain messages under their own settings.

RMS cannot read the inbox and does not sell Google account information or use it for advertising or AI training. AI-assisted drafts use public sources and require human review; Google account information and imported documents do not reach the AI provider. Google data use follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. The sender can revoke access through Google Account connections; delivered emails remain. Contact the administrator using your account’s supplied details to remove credentials or ask about stored records.
